A Tool for Healing
Unfolding is a beautifully written guide on how to deal with the effects of sexual intrusion biblically and effectively. Head blends prose and poetry to touch the hearts of her readers. God uses her words to plant the seeds of healing. I strongly recommend this book for anyone who has faced this type of assault, or if you want to prepare yourself to minister to others in need. A Beautiful Blessing
Counseling, for those who have experienced the trauma of sexual abuse, is necessary for many in the healing process. But never have I seen something written that takes it to the level that Lynne has taken it. Incorporating our God our Savior’s love, care, and work in us through the healing process – this is what is needed in addition to the rest of the counseling process. Hopefully Lynne’s book will reach many who are looking for this necessary aspect of healing. Lynne has also been open and vulnerable in the writing of her experience. There is a sense of hearing a dear friend’s story who would be able to relate to someone with a similar experience with gentle love and an open heart. What a beautiful blessing this book is!
